The University Avenue Footbridge project proposes a replacement design for the existing pedestrian bridge that crosses University Avenue and connecting to Carl Pollock Hall (CPH) of the University of Waterloo. Lawrence Houle's proposed design consists of a cable-arch system that supports a covered pedestrian bridge, that aesthetically resembles the existing bridge between the the University of Waterloo's Engineering 2 and Engineering 7 buildings.
